Round 2 for tubes in the ears!

I took Porter in to see the audiologist back in March and found out that Porter had not been hearing as well as we would have liked, even with the hearing aids. So, we ended up takeing him to see his Ear, Nose & throught doctor.
After visiting the ENT Dr. it was decided that Porter had fluid on both ears and needed tubes again. The doctor said a lot of times when a child needs tubes for a second time they will also take out their adenoids as well. He said he would wait untill Porter was put to sleep to decide if his adenoids needed to be removed. Well, sure enought Porter's adenoids were quite infected and enlarged so the doctor revoved them durring the operation.
Once the effects of the anethesia had compleately worn off Porter acted like himself, maybe a little quieter than normal (which was a nice change)but like himself none the less. He didn't even need anything for the pain.
The next time I took him to see the audiologist everything looked a lot better, but they still did end up having to turn up his right hearing aid. I guess it is just due to the fact that Porter is getting older and they can test his hearing a little more accurately.
